The relaxed, internal, and mindful approach to movement during both stationary exercises and sequenced forms gradually produces a wide variety of profound benefits for the mind, body, and spirit.


Is an ancient Chinese healing practice that combines and coordinates physical movements and breathing with a calm, meditative state of mind. It is used for the purposes of health, spirituality, and martial-arts training and as a method of cultivating and balancing “Qi” or “life energy”.

Tai Chi Chuan

Is a mind and body movement practice that combines slow, relaxed, and intentional movement with coordinated breathing. Sometimes referred to as “meditation in motion”, it is primarily used for the purposes of health, personal development, and self-defense.


Jim Janicik
All classes are taught by Jim Janicik, a 6th generation lineage holder of Yang family Tai Chi Chuan, who brings over 35 years of experience in Neijia practices to his students. He founded Neijia Arts with the intent of passing on this ancient knowledge and experience with others so that it can make a difference for practicioners living in modern times and beyond.


All Neijia Arts classes are held at Greensquare Health Center in the Lower Level Education room
